Misandao noodles originated in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, which is one of the traditional snacks in northern Jiangsu and Shandong, and also one of the eight local specialty cakes. It has the characteristics of bright and non-sticky pulp, sweet and soft taste and rich sesame fragrance.
? There are many kinds of honey snacks. Honey is caramel, which is made from grains such as barley by fermentation and saccharification, and is also called "honey food". According to legend, during the Northern Song Dynasty, when Su Dongpo was in Xuzhou, he had a close relationship with Zhang, a hermit on Yunlong Mountain, and often met with him in poetry and wine. One day, Su Dongpo and Zhang were drinking and writing poems in the crane pavilion. Su Dongpo took out a new treasure knife and tried it on the bluestone beside the drinking crane spring well. He cut three times in a row, leaving three deep knife marks on the big bluestone. Su Dongpo is very happy.
Just then, the waiter brought tea and cake. There is a new honey cake that is very delicious, but it has no name yet. Many friends asked Su Dongpo what his name was. He saw three knife marks floating on the cake surface and casually replied, "Three knives are honey."
Later, Su Dongpo's "Honey Three Knives" became famous for a while, and tea shops and pastry shops in Xuzhou rushed to make them. After hundreds of years of circulation, the formula and technology of Xuzhou honey three knives have reached the perfect state, probably because Xuzhou people respect Su Dongpo.
Therefore, he also has a special liking for Xuzhou Sanmi Dao. When Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty passed by Xuzhou in the south of the Yangtze River for three times, he named the Xuzhou government to send someone to buy Taikang, a century-old shop, which is now the royal honey knife made by Taikang Huimin Food Store in Xuzhou. According to legend, after Emperor Qianlong ate three honey knives, "Yan Long Da Yue" wrote the imperial pen of "A unique skill in Xuzhou, a royal tribute".
It is also called "honey food" in Qingzhou, Boshan and other areas of Shandong Province, and the old brands "Longsheng" and "Jingdedong" are the most popular.
