Formed in the 1950s to the mid-1960s, it is also called Shanxi Writers Group, Shanxi School and Spark School. A contemporary literary school represented by Zhao Shuli. The main writers are Ma Feng, Xi Rong, Li Shuwei, Sun Qian, Hu Zheng (known as "Xi Li Ma Hu Sun"), etc. They are all writers born and raised in rural areas of Shanxi Province and have a relatively deep foundation of rural life. After the mid-1950s, they consciously took Zhao Shuli as the center, and cultivated and formed creative schools with similar styles. The works of this school adhere to realistic creative methods and colloquial writing characteristics, pursue the truth of life and reflect the contradictions and problems in life. In the history of literature, realism is considered to be the essential feature and soul of "Shanyao Egg School". Representative writers' works include Zhao Shuli's Marriage of Little Erhei, Sanliwan and Exercise, Ma Feng's My First Supervisor, Three Years Early Knowing, and Xirong's Lai Sister-in-law.
Lotus Dian school
Formed in the late 1940s and early 1950s, it is a school of contemporary literature represented by Sun Li. The main writers are Liu Shaotang, Cong Weixi and Han Yingshan. Lotus Lake is Baiyangdian, and this school got its name not only from Baiyangdian, but also from Sun Li's short story Lotus Lake (1945). With the picturesque scenery of Baiyangdian as the background, Lotus Lake has a simple, bright, fresh and soft style, full of poetry and strong romanticism. Sun Li's works have a strong influence on young writers in Hebei. When he edited Tianjin Daily Literature Weekly, he United and cultivated a group of literary youths in the triangle of Beijing, Tianjin and Baoding through this garden. The common feature of this school of writers is the pursuit of poetic beauty, and their early works reveal the fresh atmosphere of the soil in North China and the water town. Later, gradually changed, Cong Weixi wrote a lot of generous and tragic works, which were different from the style of the "Lotus Lake" school. Representative writers' works include Sun Li's Prequel to Tiemu and The Story of the Wind and Cloud, and Liu Shaotang's Puliu Family.
Cha zi Hua pai
A school of contemporary literature, represented by Zhou Libo, was formed in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Since the mid-1950s, Zhou Libo has continuously created a number of excellent novels with the theme of rural vitality in Hunan. At the same time or later, several young writers who directly or indirectly studied under Zhou Libo appeared in Hunan. They are not only deeply influenced by Zhou Libo in their creative thinking and literary pursuit, but also their works are full of "Zhou Libo flavor", that is, full of life breath and interest, with strong Hunan local flavor. This school of writers adhere to the creative principles and methods of revolutionary realism, and insist on ideological and artistic exploration on the basis of nationalization, which is often "incorporating political situation into pictures of customs and people's feelings, and using the fate of characters to play the changes of township life" (ancient Chinese). The same characteristics of this school of writers are exquisite, bright, subtle, simple, full of life and lyrical atmosphere, with distinctive regional folk customs and poetic beauty. Representative writers' works include Zhou Libo's Great Changes in Rural Areas, Gu Hua's furong town and Han Shaogong's Maqiao Dictionary.
