How to make coconut milk horseshoe Melaleuca cake?
Prepare two containers of the same size. One is to add coconut milk, pure milk and white sugar, and stir gently to completely dissolve the white sugar.
The other is to dissolve a piece of yellow sugar with the same amount of boiling water and let it cool for later use (it is recommended to chop up the yellow sugar first to save time).
Add a little water to horseshoe powder and knead it into dough, then divide it into two equal parts (just dough, it won't take long).
Add two parts of horseshoe powder into coconut milk and yellow sugar water respectively, and slowly stir until it is completely dissolved, and the small yellow and white is finished. (Obsessive-compulsive disorder patients please ignore the large and small containers in the picture. It is recommended to use the same container above, so that everyone can grasp the water addition! )
Prepare a metal plate (it is recommended that the plate with a diameter of about 50cm has just been steamed), dry the water, steam the plate in a pot first, then pour a layer of yellow evenly and steam it over high fire.
After 2 ~ 5 minutes, open the lid, touch the yellow with chopsticks to confirm that it has solidified, and then pour a layer of white. (Everyone adds a different amount, and the time will be different. You can master it by steaming for one or two layers. )
If it is added repeatedly, the number of layers and the thickness of each layer are arbitrary. The bottom layer and top layer must be yellow, otherwise the surface will wrinkle and be unsightly. After adding the last layer, steam it directly for 5 minutes, open the lid immediately after it is completely solidified, let it cool completely, and then cut it into your favorite shape.
It is suggested to put it in the refrigerator overnight after cooling, and then cut it into pieces to taste, which is better.
