The scope of the "Diamond Class" rating includes "hotels" and "restaurants", i.e., food and beverage establishments, restaurants, pubs, dining halls, canteens, bars, multi-flavor halls, specialty shops, teahouses and other forms of food and beverage enterprises. The rating will be used to determine the quality of the food and beverage enterprises in the form of national specialties, franchises, and teahouses. The results of the assessment will be labeled with national special grade (five diamonds), first grade (four diamonds), second grade (three diamonds), third grade (two diamonds), fourth grade (one diamond) restaurants and hotels. The rating is based on the "Regulations on the grading of restaurants and hotels" issued by the relevant state departments.
