Bamboo carving with flip spring is a traditional craft in Fenghua, Ningbo. Beginning in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, it is a comprehensive handicraft that uses the local unique big bamboo to remove the green skin, then peels it in layers, turns out the bamboo spring, and then processes it by hand modeling, painting, carving and painting. There are many kinds of designs and colors, such as vases, picture frames, baskets, desk lamps, pen containers, chessboards, tea pots, bamboo-rooted Buddha statues, small screens, etc., which are practical and beautiful and unique in style, and the products sell well in the international market.
Fenghua taro
The "taro head" produced by Pueraria lobata before Fenghua enjoys a long reputation and is rich in inorganic salts such as starch, vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus and iron. There are many ways to eat taro. You can braise in soy sauce, cut in white, roasted with salt or pickled vegetable juice, or stew ribs. "Rib taro pot" has become a famous dish in Ningbo, and it tastes unique.
Dried vegetable bamboo shoots
Dried vegetable bamboo shoots are made of pickled cabbage and bamboo shoots. It is delicious and fragrant with tender cabbage and fresh bamboo shoots, and can be mixed with vegetarian dishes.
Gonggan
Dried tribute, also known as shell vegetables, is dried mussels, which not only tastes delicious, but also has high nutritional value. Fresh food can be cooked first, the shells and hairs on both sides are removed, and then radish and laver are added and cooked together, which is particularly delicious. Ningbo mussel meat is big and fat, and it is called dried meat when it is processed and dried. Because it is a high-grade nutrition, it has been used as a tribute to the royal family since the Tang Dynasty, hence the name "Gonggan".
Bone and wood inlay
Bone-wood inlay is one of the ancient handicrafts in China. It was always listed as a tribute during the Sui and Tang Dynasties. By the middle of the Qing Dynasty, it had enjoyed the reputation of "simple patterns, exquisite craftsmanship, and the same as Chinese paintings". Bone-wood inlay can be divided into high inlay and flat inlay in the form of expression. The so-called high inlay means that the pattern is convex, and the flat inlay means that the pattern is embedded with the wood blank. The materials used are processed into patterns by using animal bones, Luodian, wood chips and copper sheets, embedded in the wood blank, and scored with a carving knife. The combination of bone and wood inlay with architecture and furniture can not only be used for decoration, but also has practical value. At present, there are bone and wood mosaic products made in Ningbo in the Le Shou Hall of the Summer Palace in Beijing.
kumquat
Kumquat is as big as litchi, round and yellow, sweet and slightly sour, and full of fragrance. It can be called a good fruit, especially in Beilun Chaiqiao area. Kumquat has many varieties, such as golden bomb, rib, golden date, golden bean, etc. Among them, golden bomb is the crown of oranges, with large skin, tender meat and sweet juice, which is suitable for fresh eating. Kumquat is not only delicious, but also has the effects of promoting fluid production, appetizing and regulating qi, which is deeply loved by people.
Gold and silver embroidery
Gold and silver embroidery, also known as Ning embroidery and antique embroidery, began in the Tang and Song Dynasties. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the skills of Ning embroidery have been gradually improved and its sales have expanded. It once kept pace with Su embroidery, Xiang embroidery, Shu embroidery and Yue embroidery. Embroidery uses silk and satin as raw materials, embroidered with gold and silver thread around the colorful Ping Xiu pattern, or closely arranged with gold and silver thread, which is full of pattern space, so that the plate gold and color embroidery are integrated, elegant and simple, pleasing to the eye, exquisite in workmanship and full of elegant decorative charm.

Nijincai lacquer
Clay gold colored paint is made of China raw lacquer as the main raw material, mainly made of wood tires, and also made of bamboo chips and weaves. It is vivid and lifelike in shape, rich in three-dimensional sense, colorful in gold and silver, beautiful in layout and exquisite in appearance. Production is divided into three categories: floating flowers, flat flowers and sunken flowers, which is one of the main export handicrafts in Ningbo.
Ningbo straw mat
Ningbo straw mats sell well all over the country with four characteristics: precise texture, stiff and firm, soft and smooth, and simple collection. Straw mats are the most famous woven from hemp, especially those with white hemp tendons, and are rich in Huanggulin Town, Xixiang, Ningbo, which is known as the hometown of straw mats.

Grouper, named for its stripes and spots with different colors, has thick meat, similar to chicken, delicious taste, low fat content and high protein content, and is produced in the waters around Yushan Island, Shipu Town, Xiangshan County.
honey peach
Peach in Fenghua is the first peach with thin skin, tender meat, juicy and sweet taste. It has been planted for nearly a hundred years, and Yulu Peach, which is called "Qiongjiang Yulu" and "Yaochi Treasures" by people at home and abroad, is the best variety, which is well-known at home and abroad.
red bayberry
Myrica rubra is soft, sweet and mellow, shaped like pearls and colored like agate, which is a superior fruit. The hilly area of about 40 kilometers from Linghu in Cixi County to Mazhu in Yuyao County is the concentrated production area of Yangmei in Ningbo. Myrica rubra in Ningbo has four categories: white, pink, red and black, each with its own characteristics. Myrica rubra can be processed into canned Myrica rubra, dried Myrica rubra, Myrica rubra sauce, honey Myrica rubra and so on, which are deeply loved by Chinese and foreign people.
Zhujin woodcarving
Zhu Jin woodcarving, also known as lacquer gold woodcarving, is one of the "three golds" (gold and silver colored embroidery, clay gold colored lacquer and Zhu Jin woodcarving) in Ningbo. Made of high-quality wood such as camphor wood, basswood and ginkgo wood, it is formed by relief, through carving and round carving. It is made of gold decoration, sand gold, gold grinding, silver grinding, powder leaching, gold tracing, gold opening, mica spreading, green paving and blue paving, and painted with China lacquer. Woodcarving is full of composition, simple and elegant, beautifully carved, and its content is mostly festive and auspicious events, folklore, etc., which has a unique local style in Ningbo. The architecture and decoration of Zhaoti Temple in Nara, Japan, was built with the bamboo wood carving technology under the personal guidance of Jian Zhen, a famous monk in the Tang Dynasty.
