Kumquat, also known as kumquat, has sweet juice, rich pulp and good taste. Kumquat peel is thick and smooth, fragrant and golden yellow. It is distributed in Nan 'ao Island in Guangdong, China and Yaxian, Dongfang, Qiongzhong and Chengmai in Hainan. It is planted all over the south of the southern slope of Qinling Mountain. It is common in mountain evergreen broad-leaved forest around Jianfengling, Hainan, China, and grows between 600- 1000m above sea level.
Precautions for eating kumquat:
Kumquat is generally eaten without peeling. The skin of kumquat is more nutritious than the pulp, so we generally don't peel kumquat when we eat it. Usually, we clean the skin of kumquat and eat it directly, but some people think kumquat skin is not delicious. In fact, you can squeeze juice, but squeezing juice may lose some nutrients. It is recommended to eat it directly with the skin.
