First, the steps and precautions of sericulture
1, step
(1) Put the silkworm eggs in a clean and odorless silkworm rearing box, and the silkworm eggs can naturally hatch into ant silkworms at the room temperature of 2 1-29℃, generally about 1 1 day (including delivery time).
(2) The ants begin to have an appetite about 40 minutes after hatching and can be fed. Mulberry leaves can be cut into small pieces with a knife and put in a silkworm box. Silkworms will take the initiative to climb onto the mulberry leaves and eat them. Tender mulberry leaves can be used for 1-3-day-old silkworms, and ordinary mulberry leaves can be used for 4-5-day-old silkworms.
(3) Silkworms are suitable to grow in the environment of 22-29℃, the optimum temperature is about 27℃, and the feeding time can be chosen in the morning or at noon.
2. Preventive measures
(1) Preservation of Mulberry Leaves
1 Mulberry leaves can be kept fresh in the refrigerator, and the temperature is about 5℃ to prevent deterioration, but the mulberry leaves taken out of the refrigerator need to be restored to normal temperature before feeding.
Mulberry leaves can also be packed in plastic and the bag mouth is tightly tied to slow down the drying and dehydration time of mulberry leaves.
(2) Other precautions
1 Clean the silkworm house every day. Usually, the silkworm house should be placed in a cool place with a temperature of about 25℃.
Try not to catch silkworms by hand, but with a soft brush.
Second, the growth and change of silkworm diagram sequence
1, growth process
Silkworm life needs to go through five processes in turn: silkworm egg, ant silkworm, mature silkworm, cocoon and silkworm moth. When the silkworm just crawls out of the egg, its body is brown or black, tiny and hairy, about 2mm long and 0.5mm wide, and it looks like an ant, so it is called an ant silkworm. It usually eats mulberry leaves after 2-3 hours of crawling out.
2. Technical points of rearing big silkworms.
(1) Ensure the quantity and quality of mulberry leaves of 5th instar silkworm, and avoid eating old hard leaves, over tender leaves, malnourished leaves and leaves with insufficient water.
(2) Set up a shed for shading to prevent hot air from entering the silkworm house.
