Future generations continued to operate Quanjude.
After Yang Quanren passed away, his second son Yang Qingmao became the second generation shopkeeper. In terms of management, he transformed the store in Quanjude into a two-story building (the current layout of the Quanjude Qianmen Origin Store).
The Yang family is the descendant of Yang Quanren, the old owner of Quanjude, a time-honored brand in Beijing. Lao Yang's family has lived in this alley for nearly a hundred years. In 1984, the Caishen Hutong, which had been merged into Yangrou Hutong, was demolished and several six-story red brick residential buildings were built on the site. The descendants of the Yang family also moved into the residential buildings in this area. The residential buildings are still in the mutton alley.
