Introduction of broad-throated fish
Wide-throated fish, which devours eels, is also called wide-throated fish, swallowing eels, swallowing eels, etc. It is one of the wide-throated fishes of the order Phaeophagidae, a rare deep-sea fish, and occasionally caught by mistake in fishing nets. Swallowing eels is very similar to eels, and is closely related to true eels of the order Anguilla. There is only one known species (eurypharynx pelecanoides vain, 1882), and its generic name is composed of eurys (Latin: long) +pharynx (Greek: larynx), which means "long throat".
