Beef Jerky

Beef tenderloin 750g, green onion 50g, Daxi Da Beef Powder 5ml (for stewing), light soy sauce 60ml, dark soy sauce 15ml, rock sugar 15ml, peppercorns 10 grains or so, anise 1, cumin 5-10ml (for mixing in), Daxi Da Beef Powder 5-10ml (for mixing in), chili powder (can't be put in) 5-10ml (for mixing in).

Cooking Steps

Clean the beef tenderloin and cut it into 1cm strips.

Step 2/7

Put the cut beef into a pot and add 5ml of Tahitian ground beef.

Step 3/7

Add the round onion, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, peppercorns and star anise to the pot as well.

Step 4/7

Stir in the seasonings and beef, cover the pot with a lid, and heat over 800 watts of fire on the hot pot setting.

After cooking for about 15 minutes, open the lid and stir-fry the beef! Cover the pot with a lid

and turn on the hot pot to 600 watts.

Simmer the beef until it's almost dry (about 60 minutes), then sprinkle 5ml of ground beef and cumin on top and stir to combine (sprinkle with chili powder if you like spicy jerky). (If you like spicy beef jerky, you can sprinkle some chili powder). Then turn on the hot pot to 300 watts of heat and slowly roast the beef, about 30 minutes. (This pot has a similar function to the oven ha). If you have a microwave at home, you can put the beef strips mixed with cumin powder and Dahi Da Beef Ground in the microwave on high heat to dry, about 10 minutes!

Final Step

After it's dry, remove from the pan, plate, and enjoy! If you make a lot of these, it's best to store them in an airtight container!
