Fresh-keeping methods and skills of jackfruit
The preservation methods and techniques of jackfruit include normal temperature preservation, dried jackfruit preservation, refrigerator preservation and salt water preservation.

1, stored at room temperature

Wrap the peeled jackfruit in plastic wrap and put it in a cool and ventilated place. Pay attention to temperature and humidity when storing. Under normal circumstances, the storage temperature is about 1 1 to 13 degrees, and the humidity is 85~ 95%, which can be stored for 5 ~ 7 days.

2. Make dried jackfruit.

Use an oven or microwave oven to bake slowly with low fire, turn over halfway and gradually dry the water, so that the dried jackfruit can be preserved for a long time.

3. Refrigerator preservation

Put the jackfruit with skin in the refrigerator and seal it with safety film. It is best to eat it within 5 days. If you can't finish it in five days, you'd better throw it away. It will ferment. Be sure to put it in the refrigerator, otherwise it really stinks.

4, salt water preservation

The jackfruit is so big that some people can't finish it all at once after opening it. At this time, take a small amount of edible salt, add water to make light salt water, then soak the jackfruit pulp in salt water, and then store it in the refrigerator for about two days.

Propagation method of jackfruit

1. seed propagation: in the main fruit maturity stage, select seeds that are fully mature, have normal fruit development and are free from pests and diseases, wash them with clear water, then spread them on a sand bed to accelerate germination, cover the sand bed with 1~2 cm of fine sand, then cover with 1 layer of straw, and spray water 1~2 times a day.

2. Bud grafting propagation: When jackfruit seedlings grow to more than 1 cm, bud grafting can be carried out, and the bud grafting method is adopted. Choose annual and sunny branches as scions on excellent varieties, and these branches should be stored in wet places, preferably together with harvest. They can germinate all year round in Hainan, but the survival rate is high in rainy season and tree growing season from April to 10, when rootstocks and scions are easy to peel and survive in the later stage.
