1, La Marzocco , a fully manual coffee machine, the production of a slightly longer time-consuming, more complex process.
2, Mastrena, belonging to the fully automatic
3, Verismo, belonging to the fully automatic

Starbucks uses three main brands of coffee machines, La Marzocco, Verismo, and Mastrena.
Prior to 2000, Starbucks stores primarily used semi-automatic from Italy Before 2000, Starbucks stores mainly used the semi-automatic La Marzocco coffee machine from Italy, which baristas had to operate manually to control extraction time and pressure, but as the pace of Starbucks store expansion accelerated, most of the stores gradually switched to fully automated coffee machines, such as Verismo and Mastrena.
Both brands are customized for Starbucks by Thermoplan, a company from Switzerland, and the Mastrena is an upgraded version of the Verismo.
These customized coffee machines for Starbucks are said to cost upwards of 100,000 yuan each and are not for sale to the public.At one point, ThermoPlan was supplying Starbucks with 84 coffee machines a day, and the latter accounted for a third of ThermoPlan's sales.
