Poria is a Polyporaceae plant, the fungus Poria cocos dry mycelium. Cut off the outer skin of Poria, called Poria skin. Poria cocos cut after peeling, called Poria block. The inner white part is called Poria cocos; the reddish part near the outer skin is called Poria cocos; the white part with pine roots is called Poria cocos. Poria cocos is commonly used as white poria, and processed as white poria slices.
