For example, if a person is 1.70 meters tall and weighs 60 kilograms, the person's Body Mass Index (BMI) would be:
BMI=60 ÷ (1.70 * 1.70)=20.7612
The BMI for a healthy weight is 18.5-24.9;
BMI between 25-28 is considered overweight;
More than 28 is obesity, while less than 18.5 is emaciation;
The optimal BMI is 22.
