There is no Thanksgiving Day in China, and the Mid-Autumn Festival in China is similar to that in the West. The two festivals have different meanings. Thanksgiving is to celebrate the harvest and thank God for the gifts he has given people. Our Mid-Autumn Festival doesn't seem to mean to celebrate the harvest, but to emphasize family reunion, homesickness of distant wanderers and homesickness of overseas wanderers.
