Steps
First Step
1. Wash the whole chicken and put it into a large bowl.
Step 2
2. Rub an even layer of salt on the body and inside of the chicken, and then give the chicken a massage with your hands for 5 minutes to get the salt in fully.

3. Add soy sauce, green onion and ginger, and mei ji xiang.

4. Rub well.

5. Add barbecue sauce and spread well.
Step 6
6. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 24 hours to fully flavor.

7. Soften the mushrooms.

8. Remove the stems and rinse the mushrooms.

9. Take out the marinated whole chicken and stuff the mushrooms inside the stomach.

10. Stuff with white onion segments and ginger slices.

11. Place on the grill.
Step Twelve
12. Preheat the oven for 5 minutes, selecting 200°, top and rotisserie settings.

13. Bake for 1 hour.

14. Brush with honey water every 15 minutes.
Step 15
15. Bake at 230 degrees for another 10 minutes by the hour.

16. The delicious mushroom roast chicken is ready.
