Many friends want to learn to make their own cakes, but they don't know what tools to buy to make them. Below I list the basic tools needed to make cakes as follows for my friends' reference.

Basic baking tools:

1) oven: It is recommended that you use a household electric oven with a temperature and time scale and a volume of at least 13 liter. A gas oven will do. If your oven measures the temperature in Fahrenheit, you can use this formula to convert the temperature in Celsius: Celsius = (Fahrenheit-32℃) × 5 ÷ 9.

2) Baking tray: one 8-inch baking tray. The following materials can be selected: glass, ceramics, metal, disposable tin foil baking tray and heat-resistant plastic baking mold.

3) Egg beater: It is recommended that you use electric egg beater, either manually or on the desktop, which saves time and energy in egg beater. Ordinary eggbeater is ok, but it is an almost crazy challenge to arm strength and endurance.

4) Screen: used to screen the flour, which can prevent the flour from caking when in use, so that small pimples will not be formed during the stirring process, ensuring the delicate taste of the cake.

5) Rubber scraper: used for mixing materials. There are many angles at the bottom of the container, and the knife surface of the rubber scraper is very elastic, which is easy to close with the surface layer in the container, and the material can be easily scraped and stirred. But please pay attention to the softness and hardness of the knife surface when buying, the soft one is easier to use.

6) Scale: a spring scale or an electronic scale that can be accurate to grams can be used. This tool can ensure the accurate proportion of the basic ingredients of cakes. With it, it can be said that half the battle is won.

7) Measuring spoon: Measuring spoon is usually a set of 4. Specifications are 1/4 tea spoon, 1/2 teaspoon, 1 teaspoon and 1 table spoon.

1 spoon =3 teaspoons = 15ml 1 teaspoon =5ml 1/2 teaspoons =2.5ml 1/4 teaspoons =1.5ml.

8) egg separator; Used to separate egg yolk and egg white. If you are sure, break the eggshell directly, divide it into two halves, and pour it back and forth, so that the egg yolk and egg white can be separated.

9) Regarding measuring cups, the capacity of measuring cups varies from country to country. The commonly used total capacity of a cup in Taiwan Province and Japan is 200ml, while that in Hongkong, Britain, USA and Canada is 240ml, and that in Australia is 250ml. Therefore, if you can't determine the source of the formula in the future West Point operation, in order to ensure the accuracy of the ratio, it is not recommended that you use the measuring cup as the main measuring tool.

10) baking paper: commonly known as oil paper, it plays an anti-stick role in the baking process. It is not recommended to use waxed paper instead, because there is a thin layer of wax on waxed paper. When baking at high temperature or for a long time, the wax on waxed paper will be coked to produce smoke and odor. If there is no oiled paper, evenly spread a thin layer of oil on the baking tray, and then evenly sieve a thin layer of flour.
