1. Field selection: arrowhead cultivation needs sufficient water, and it should be planted in sand-enclosed fields with convenient irrigation and drainage and deep and fertile soil layers.
2. Base fertilizer: Before planting, 2,5 kilograms of green manure or 1, kilograms of pig manure are generally applied per mu as base fertilizer, and planting is conducted one week later.
3. Collecting arrowhead seedlings: The standard arrowhead seedlings are required to be strong, with 3 leaves, and the height of the seedlings is about 25 cm. Cut off the excess leaves (including petioles), and remove the old roots and leaves at the same time.
4. The first batch of mushroom seedlings, called "vegetables" by mushroom farmers, were collected in the middle and early August (around "beginning of autumn"). Because of the early planting time, the seedlings were large, robust and fast growing, which accounted for about 8% of the total seedlings. Topdressing once after picking the first batch of seedlings; After 15 days, the second batch of seedlings can be picked, which is called "washing the ground" by mushroom farmers. This batch of seedlings accounts for about 2% of the total seedlings, and the "washing the ground" seedlings can only be planted in early September, that is, before "Bailu". If the amount of seeds used is large and the supply of seedlings is insufficient, the first tillering seedlings can be planted from the "vegetables". These seedlings are called "new pockets" by farmers, and the "new pockets" seedlings are usually planted before September 2.
5. Planting requirements: It is generally arranged to plant from August 8 to September 2, with a spacing of 21 cm and a row spacing of 5 cm, with about 6,5 plants per mu. The field surface should be flat and shallow, and the irrigation and drainage pit should be dug. When planting, shallow transplanting is required, which is beneficial to the early growth and rapid development of seedlings. Every other row, 2 ~ 3 plants from heel in are used as spare seedlings, so as to make up for the shortage in time and ensure the whole seedlings.
