(1) Eat more high-protein foods. Patients with bronchial asthma suffer from repeated attacks and lung inflammation, and most of them will be emaciated and their resistance will decrease. Therefore, patients should be supplemented with enough high-quality protein, with a daily intake of 60-80g. Eat more foods containing high-quality protein, such as lean meat, liver, eggs, poultry, soybeans and bean products.
(2) Eat more foods containing vitamins. Foods containing vitamin A have the effects of moistening lung, protecting trachea and enhancing disease resistance, such as pork liver, egg yolk, cod liver oil, carrots, leeks, pumpkins and apricots. Foods containing B vitamins and vitamin C have the functions of stimulating appetite, reducing and repairing lung inflammation, such as peanuts, chicken liver, lean jujube, grapefruit, tomato and green pepper.
(3) Eat more foods containing calcium. Foods containing calcium can enhance the anti-allergic ability of trachea, such as pig bones, tofu, sesame paste, vegetables and so on.
(4) Eat more foods containing magnesium. Patients with bronchial asthma should eat more foods containing magnesium, such as buckwheat, soybean, black soybean, mung bean, broad bean, celery, amaranth, spinach, shepherd's purse, day lily and milk, which is beneficial to calm asthma. Because magnesium is an auxiliary factor of many enzymes in human body, it can relieve bronchial smooth muscle spasm and relieve bronchial asthma. In addition, magnesium can relax the spasmodic capillaries and arterioles caused by hypoxia, improve microcirculation, reduce the burden on the heart, reduce pulmonary congestion and indirectly improve respiratory function.
