Coffee beans' home

Arabica: The output of the United States and Africa accounts for about 65% of the main producing areas.

Robusta: The output of Asia and Africa accounts for 30%-40% in the main producing areas.

Coffee beans are grown in many countries in the world, and most of them are concentrated in economically underdeveloped countries. There are only three kinds of coffee beans: Arabica, Robusta and Liberia. Arabica and Robusta are used to make coffee drinks on the market.

Arabica species are mainly produced in Central America, South America, Africa (mainly in East African countries such as Ethiopia and Kenya), Asia (mainly in Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia and Vietnam) and Hawaii, USA. It is suitable for planting in tropical cold and high altitude areas, so it is mainly concentrated in tropical countries between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. The quality of coffee in the north of the equator will be better than that in the south of the equator. Arabica Arabica beans are small-grained, flat-oval, fragrant and delicate, sour and pleasant, smooth in texture and less bitter. Coffee beans planted in Rabika are not easy to harvest mechanically because they are planted on steep slopes. They are all picked by hand, and the traffic is inconvenient. Therefore, the price of Arabica beans is significantly higher than that of Robusta beans. Zhongguo coffee

Robusta species grows on high-temperature and humid land and is widely planted in lowlands and plains below 1000 meters above sea level. Robusta beans have a unique "strange fragrance" and bitter taste, and the caffeine is about 2-3 times that of Arabica. Mainly used in the formula of mixed beans, often in the instant coffee or canned coffee market. Judging from Robusta's taste orientation, the United States and Japan often drink weak coffee brewed by Arabica, while Europe prefers espresso made by mixing Arabica and Robusta. The main producers of Robusta coffee beans are Indonesia, Vietnam and Brazil.
