What are the food standards in China?
China food standards include: general standards, product standards, production and operation standards, and inspection methods standards.

With the most stringent standards, the strictest supervision, the most severe punishment and the most serious accountability, we will ensure the safety of the broad masses of the people. The "most stringent standard" in the "four strictest" mainly refers to the national food safety standards. National food safety standards are mandatory standards and an important support to ensure food safety and public health.

Four categories of standards

General standard (item 15), product standard (item 809), production and operation standard (item 34) and inspection method standard (item 5 13), and 107 has been replaced (to be replaced) and abolished (to be abolished), and the four categories of standards are organically connected. The general standard stipulates the general and universal food safety hazards and measures, involving many kinds of foods and a wide range, and the standard has strong universality.

When some foods, food additives or food-related products are special and may have other risks, corresponding indicators, limits (or measures) and other necessary technical requirements shall be formulated in the corresponding product standards. When the product standard involves what has been stipulated in the general food safety standard, the general standard should be cited.
