Preparation materials: glutinous rice flour, white sugar, brown sugar and red beans.

Put some brown sugar in the water and stir it. Mix it with sugar water. Put it aside. Pour sugar water into glutinous rice flour and knead it by hand.

Steam on liquefied gas, as shown in the figure. Steam each cake for 2-3 minutes.

Plum blossom cake is a famous snack with unique flavor in southern Jiangsu, such as Nanjing, Suzhou and Wuxi. Originated in Ming Dynasty, it developed into the most famous traditional pastry snack in Jiangnan area in Qing Dynasty. According to legend, when Emperor Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River, he saw that it was shaped like plum blossom with attractive color and pretended to taste it.
