The source is the volatile oil obtained by distillation from the dried flower buds (Syringa oblata) of Syzygium aromaticum (Eugenia aromaticum. or Eugenia caryophyllata.) in Myrtaceae (in ancient times, it was mostly the oil squeezed by the female clove). The plant morphology of Syringa oblata is an evergreen tree, which is as high as 10-20 meters, with oval leaves and large single leaves. The flowers are red, cymes, and the buds are white at first, then turn green, and when they grow to 1.5-2 cm long, they turn red, and then they can be harvested.
