"Yuyuantan Park Cherry Blossom Festival" is an annual cherry blossom blossom blooming in Yuyuantan public can enjoy 20 varieties of 2,000 cherry blossoms. 2013 Yuyuantan Park held a cherry blossom festival. The cherry blossom period is extremely short, from blossom to wither only seven days, and the whole cherry tree from blossom to the whole thankfulness is only about two weeks.

Yuyuantan Park is a national AAAA level scenic spot, it is located in Haidian District. The east gate is adjacent to Diaoyutai State Guesthouse; west to the middle of the West Third Ring Road and the Central Television Tower across the road. The south gate is directly north of the China Millennium Forum, and the north is connected to the Naval General Hospital. The main scenic spots of the park consist of the Cherry Blossom Garden in the west, the Diversion Lake Scenic Area in the north (partially completed), Zhongshan Island in the south, and the Liuchun Garden in the east.

Yuyuantan Park has about 199,500 trees of 125 kinds, including 69 kinds of trees and 56 kinds of shrubs. The most distinctive feature of the park is the cherry blossoms, and there are nearly 20 varieties and 2,000 cherry blossoms in the park, such as Yamazakura, Oyama cherry blossoms, Aobutsu cherry blossoms, Someiyoshino, American cherry blossoms, Hangzhou early cherry blossoms, Echizuki no Hikaribi, Sikawa, Edo Hikaribi, Yaehono Oshima, and Taihaku.
