There are many ways to preserve ginger, such as salt preservation, plastic wrap preservation and buried soil preservation, which can keep ginger for a longer time.
1. Salt preservation method:
If you buy more ginger and can't eat it all at once, you can make ginger into salted ginger. The method is to wash and peel the ginger first, then dry it in the sun to remove water, then marinate it in salt for a few days, and finally dry the salted ginger.
2. Plastic wrap preservation method:
Prepare a basin of clear water, pour in a proper amount of salt, stir it into light salt water, soak it in ginger slices for 15 minutes, then take it out and dry the water on the surface. Be careful not to expose it to the sun. After drying, wrap it in plastic wrap, and be sure to exhaust the air. This way, you can take it as you like, just like fresh.
3. Buried soil preservation method:
You can find a flowerpot or other plate with sand, and then bury the ginger in the sand. The sand should be moist but not wet, so that ginger can be stored well.
