A balanced diet does not include drinking less sweet drinks. The requirements for a balanced diet include diversifying food, drinking less sweet drinks, a reasonable dietary system, and scientific cooking methods. Food must be hygienic and non-toxic.
To achieve a balanced diet, we must master ten principles, that is, consume no more than one fist-sized meat (including fish, poultry, meat, eggs) every day, and eat two fist-sized staple foods (including Rice, flour, whole grains, miscellaneous beans and potatoes), ensure two fists of beans and dairy products, and eat no less than five fists of vegetables and fruits.
A balanced diet should meet the conditions
(1). The food composition of the daily meal should be diverse, and various nutrients should be complete, including energy-supplying foods, namely protein, fat and Carbohydrates; non-energy-providing foods, namely vitamins, minerals, trace elements and fiber. A mixture of coarse and fine foods, a mixture of meat and vegetables, and a reasonable combination can provide the eater with necessary heat energy and various nutrients.
(2) Various nutrients must meet the growth and development needs of children, not too much or too little.
(3). The proportion of nutrients should be appropriate. For example, the heat supply ratio of protein, fat, and carbohydrate is 1:2.5:4, high-quality protein should account for 1/2 to 2/3 of the total protein, and animal protein should account for 1/3. The proportion of heating for three meals is about 30% for breakfast, about 40% for lunch, about 25% for dinner, and 5% to 10% for afternoon snacks.
