Brief introduction of the author
In the eleventh year of Xianfeng, the Taiping Army attacked Hangzhou, and Jiang Tan took refuge in Cixi. He took refuge in his good friend Wang Jingzeng, returned to Qiantang and starved to death soon. He is the author of Memories of Qiu Guang, Poems in Xiying Temple, Outside Poems Collection and Microwave Collection.
Xu Shichang's Poems of the Late Qing Dynasty said: "After Fu's death in late autumn, he wrote Memories of Qiu Guang, which is a legacy of the secluded lady." Qiu Fu was described by Lin Yutang as one of the two loveliest women in ancient China, and the other was Yunniang, the wife of Shen Fu.
