The first day

The next day

Then, I poured out the water in the bowl, put a layer of paper towels full of water on the bottom of the bowl, placed the mung beans on the paper towels, and covered it with a layer of wet paper towels.

The third day

Yesterday, the peeled mung beans were still bright and tender yellow, but today they have turned green, and most of the mung bean sprouts have a root length of 3 cm, a small part reaches 2 cm, and only one root is 1 cm long. I watered them. How many centimeters will the roots of the mung beans grow tomorrow?

Day 4

Today, the longest mung bean roots reached 4 cm, and the shortest ones were only 2 cm. The roots gradually turned white and transparent, and there were 2 green patches. The young leaves emerge from the cracks in the mung beans and sprout!

Day 5

Mung bean sprouts grow very fast. The tallest ones are 7.8 cm tall, most are 5.6 cm tall, and the smallest ones are only 3 cm tall. . The cracked mung beans grow in the middle of the bean sprouts and have begun to dry up. The young leaves also gradually grow larger and darker in color.

Day 6

The roots of the mung beans are getting longer and longer, and some small roots have grown. Some bean sprouts are already 10 cm high, most are 8.9 cm high, and 2 are only 4.5 cm high. The leaves have grown up and their textures are clearer. The mung beans are so withered that they are about to leave the mung bean sprouts.

The seventh day

Most of the roots of the mung beans are "hidden" under the paper towels. The tallest mung bean sprouts have grown to 12 or 13 centimeters, and the smallest ones are only 7 centimeters tall. The mung beans are a little hairy. Black, the leaves have become larger.

End of observation

Some bean sprouts have grown to 15 cm, and the shortest one has grown to 8.9 cm. The mung beans have all turned black and fallen off, and the leaves have become larger.
