Creative Background

The song was produced by Jim Jonsin. He initially produced a backing track with Danity Kane and played it to Static Major. Static Major heard it and began working in the studio with Jim Jonsin.

Static Major took about 15 minutes to create the melody of the song, and he also took 30 minutes to complete the chorus. Jim Jonsin then sampled Static Major's sound.

Afterwards, Static Major found Lil Wayne and gave him the completed part of the song, hoping to complete the song with him. They then used Auto-Tune to improve the song. Lil Wayne later recorded the rap portion.
