"Bauhinia tree Wenchang Pagoda, branches out of the brush to produce wonderful flowers." This is an anthem for the Bauhinia.
When mentioning the Bauhinia, we will immediately think of the return of Hong Kong to China in 1997, and at that exciting moment, we got to know the Bauhinia on the Hong Kong regional flag. Bauhinia is the city flower of Hong Kong. The branches and leaves are closely connected to the stem, and the flowers bloom from the same place and cling to each other, symbolizing that Hong Kong and the motherland are one and will never be separated.
Today, we went to see the Bauhinia together.

Later, a tree with purplish-red flowers grew on Gui Kok Hill, and soon the flowers bloomed all over Hong Kong. The flowers bloomed around the Ching Ming Festival, and the people named it Bauhinia in honor of the martyrs, and it was also honored as the city flower of Hong Kong.
Poem in the flower
Bauhinia
--Yuan Dynasty: Fang Hui
Sparse and thin branches The bone is skin,
Suddenly bursts of red Ying clusters of purple leeds.
The first time I saw her, I saw her teeth,
It's a clear sign that she is covered in molasses.
Bauhinia
--Ming Dynasty: Gu Qing
Hundreds of trunks support each other***one,
The reddish color of the reddish color of the reddish color of the reddish color of the reddish color of the reddish color of the reddish color of the reddish color of the reddish color of the reddish color of the reddish color.
The red ants are all over the branches.
Spring winds do not need to sing rows of reeds,
But send sealing cultivation to pay for the children and grandchildren.
The Bauhinia Flower (Nine Songs)
Xiao Shui Jin
Double five-petaled Bauhinia Flower,
National Flag Five-Pointed Star Light Plus.
The tree has a male heroism,
Flowering and foliage of the woman Hua.
Break the waves and return home victorious,
Saliently stroking the pipa.
Not ashamed to protect the South China Sea in Xisha,
East to add colorful clouds.
