Steps
1. This is an old cucumber, which is very different in appearance from the cucumbers used for cooking.
2. First put rock sugar, chicken essence, salt, tangerine peel and cooking wine into the stew pot.
3. Boil the pork ribs with water.
4. Cut the old cucumber crosswise into 2 cm thick slices. Then use the handle of a small spoon to hollow out the melon seeds and melon scoop, clean them and set aside.
5. Put the pork ribs and old cucumber pieces that have been treated with boiled water into the stew pot in step 2.
6. First pour enough boiling water into the electric stew pot.
7. Then pour 1.3 liters of boiling water into the stew pot.
8. Put the stew pot into the electric stew pot, use the "slow cook" setting, and simmer for 4 hours.
9. Take it out of the pot, tidy it up a little, and it’s ready.
Tips
If you don’t have old cucumbers, you can use zucchini instead, but the soup will change but the texture will be the same.
