The more famous cookies in Chaoshan region include Chaoyang Guiyu Islands and Chiuzhou Holiday Inn. However, the water and air in Guiyu is seriously polluted now, and the one in Chiu Chow (pronounced as "Saixi" in Shantou dialect) is also good.

Guiyu's is a small one while Chiu Chow's is bigger.

If you are in Shantou downtown, the cookies from Biscuit Factory are not bad. The market of the cookie factory is at the junction of Shanzhang Road and Jinsha Road, next to the overpass and next to the bicycle store.

They are available all year round!
