1. Water shield in Lichuan: In 1980s, water shield flourished in Lichuan, with planting area of10.5 million mu and annual output of10.4 million tons, which was called "the hometown of water shield in China".

2. Kidney beans: Lichuan is the main producing area of kidney beans. There are several varieties of kidney beans, including big white kidney beans, small white kidney beans and purple kidney beans, with an annual output of more than 2,000 tons. Lichuan kidney bean has the characteristics of full grain, clean and smooth, tender meat, delicious flavor and rich nutrition, and is listed as one of the main grain and oil export commodities in China.

3. Lichuan City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hubei Province. Located in the southwest border of Hubei Province, it is bordered by Chongqing in the west, Enshi in the east, Xiaoxiang in the south, Three Gorges in the north and four counties and two districts in Chongqing. Lichuan is the largest and most populous county-level city in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, with fertile land and rich products, and is known as "Silver Lichuan" and "Hometown of Gong Mi".
