How to Make Laksa Noodles in Soup
1. Cook the egg noodles in boiling water and then cool them in cold water to remove the sticky part of the noodles and make them more refreshing
2. Slice the zucchini and cut the bean curd in half diagonally, it is easier to cook through the curd and absorb the juices after cutting it
3. Soak the dried portobello mushrooms in water beforehand, or you can use other mushrooms. But it is not recommended to use shiitake mushrooms, the flavor of shiitake mushrooms is too heavy, it is easy to destroy the aroma of laksa
4. Add 500 ml of water into the pot, add the laksa paste and coconut milk powder, and bring to a boil on a high heat without covering the pot
5. Add the mushrooms, bean puffs and cook them until they are soft and tasty
6. After the mushrooms and bean puffs are done cooking, put in the vegetables, and when the vegetables are softened as well, add the cooked ingredients into a bowl for the noodles, along with the soup and vegetables. The vegetables are also soft, then put the cooked ingredients with soup and vegetables into the bowl of noodles, and finally garnish with sambal sauce to serve
Cooking tips
1, it is not recommended to cook the noodles directly into the pot of laksa, because the noodles will be sprinkled with a lot of thin noodles before packing to avoid sticking together, and the soup of cooked noodles is sticky, which will destroy the soup base of laksa;
2, when cooking the ingredients, we need to cook those that are not easy to be rotten, and put the bean puffs first, because the bean puffs can also be put first.
