Second, the starch of dishes with high starch content can be quickly converted into blood sugar after entering the human body, and the higher the gelatinization degree of starch, the faster the sugar rise. The higher the content of resistant starch, the slower the sugar rising speed. What foods with high starch content are there?
Potatoes, taro, sweet potatoes. Sugar friends should never think that they are vegetables, so they can eat more. We know that the main component of rice is starch, and the starch content of these three vegetables is not low. Therefore, we often say that when we eat this kind of starch with high content, we should eat it as a staple food.
Moreover, when cooking this kind of food, the longer it takes, the higher the degree of starch gelatinization, and the worse it is for blood sugar. For example, freshly cooked taro, if eaten directly, will have a greater impact on blood sugar. On the contrary, if the cooking time is a little later and shorter, and the taro is a little harder, the starch gelatinization will be relatively lower and the impact on blood sugar will be relatively small. Third, dishes with high sugar content There is no need to say more about dishes with high sugar content. The more you eat, the higher your blood sugar will rise. Take the local cuisine in Shanghai for example. Most of the dishes are sweet. Just name a few here: sweet and sour pork ribs, braised pork and sweet and sour fish.

For this kind of food, it is generally not recommended for sugar friends to eat. If you must eat it, it must be a small amount.
