Babies under one year old should not eat honey. Because dust and soil often contain a kind of Botox bacteria, bees may bring contaminated honey back to the hive during the process of collecting powder and making honey. Botulinum botulinum has a strong ability to adapt to the environment, which is resistant to both cold and high temperature, and can survive in continuous boiling water for 6~ 10 hour. Moreover, in a series of processes such as brewing, transportation and storage, it is easily contaminated by botulinum. Therefore, even after general processing of honey, there are still a certain number of botulinum spores. Consulting B, E, I, J, I, N, H, 1,2,3, these spores are generally helpless to adults, because adults have strong immune ability, which makes spores unable to grow, reproduce and release toxins. However, once these spores enter infants, especially infants under the age of 1 year, because the immune system of infants is not yet mature, they quickly develop into botulinum, and release a large number of highly toxic botulinum toxins. In addition, honey contains hormone substances, and long-term consumption can promote precocious puberty of babies. For the healthy growth of babies, it is best not to give honey to babies under one year old.
Hope to adopt!
