Where are the tips distributed?
Water cypress is an ancient plant, which botanists call a remnant plant, that is to say, it is a few representatives of ancient plants that have not been extinct so far. In the Cenozoic era, 40 million years ago, there were at least 5-6 species of Pinus tabulaeformis distributed all over the northern hemisphere. But up to now, there is only one species left in the world, and it only grows in the south and southeast of China, with the largest distribution near the Pearl River Delta, followed by the lower reaches of the Minjiang River in Fujian, all of which are artificially cultivated. Behind Nanhua Temple in Shaoguan, there are six tall water pines, 42 meters high, the highest in the world. Cypress is a semi-evergreen tree with a height of 25m and a DBH of 60 ~120cm. Bark brown or grayish brown, divided into irregular strips.
