The black-browed snake is good at climbing, and lives near mountains, plains, hills, grasslands, fields and cottages, often in rice fields, rivers and grasses, and sometimes near farmhouses. This snake likes to eat rats, and often appears in farmers' rooms, eaves and roofs because of chasing rats. It is known as the "domestic snake" in the south and is known as the "king of catching rats", with an annual catch of 15 ~ 2 rats. Although this snake is non-venomous, its temperament is rough. When it is disturbed, it can erect its head and neck, 2 ~ 3 cm from the ground, and its body is "S"-shaped, ready to attack. It likes to eat rats and birds, but it is not very interested in frogs. Under the condition of artificial feeding, quails and chicks that have been eliminated are mainly fed; It is best to use electronic mousetrap to catch rats and ensure that some rats are fed regularly to meet their growth needs. This snake lays eggs, mating around May every year, and laying eggs from June to July, with 6 to 12 eggs each time. The incubation period is about 35 ~ 5 days, but the incubation of eggs is greatly affected by temperature, and the longest time can reach 2 months.
