Table manners
Chinese banquets are usually served at a round table with a red tablecloth on top, and the drinks are set out in advance. If it is a small banquet with two tables, both horizontal and vertical rows of tables can be used. When horizontal rows are used, the table on the left hand side facing the main door is the honored position, and when vertical rows are used, the table far away from the main door is the upper position.
When the number of tables is greater than three tables, also need to be based on the "face of the door positioning", "left-handed for the honored", "far for the upper" principle of arrangement, no matter whether it is to participate in the banquet guests, or the organization of the banquet, or the arrangement of the organizers. Or arrange the banquet organizers, can follow this principle.
Etiquette
The etiquette of the Chinese banquet is very important. Whether in the south or the north, the guests are seated facing the front door and are called the "master of ceremonies". And the "main companion" and "main companion" sitting at the table is the "deputy main companion". The guest of honor is on the left hand side of the headwaiter and the guest of honor is on the right hand side of the headwaiter. As for the other positions, the principle is "the closer the table is to the master's table, the more honorable the table is, and the closer the seat is to the master, the more honorable the position is."
Additionally, there are restrictions on the number of people dining at each table, preferably no more than ten people, and the number of people dining arrangements like double not like single. Currently the tables of large hotels belong to the standard type, ten people table is the most widely used table type, if the arrangement of too many people, more crowded. If the table is relatively large, the number of people can not take care of over, it seems to slow down the guests, which is not what the host wants to see.

The first time you ladle soup into a bowl, you should not ladle it too much, but put a small amount into the bowl and test the temperature by gently touching it with your lips or a spoon, don't shush the soup and don't make a sound when you drink it.
Chinese food meat and vegetables are more reasonable, if you encounter more fiber or meat is not rotten, often need to pick teeth, this time should be a toothpick with a hand to cover, or handkerchief to cover.
While the meal is in progress, the speed of eating needs to be synchronized with that of the owner, and should not be fast or slow. At this time, smoking indoors requires the consent of the host and those dining at the same table, and if there are women and children at the table, they should not smoke. When leaving the table, you need to wait for the host to leave the seat before leaving.
