How to choose sugar oranges
1. Look at the shape: You should pay attention when choosing sugar oranges. The appearance of good sugar oranges is oblate. So don't pick those sugar oranges that look round, it's inferior.
2. Look at the color: The mature sugar orange is bright in color, showing a bright orange red. If the sugar orange looks dark, it has been picked for too long. If the color is blue, it proves that the fruit is not mature enough.
3. Pinch by hand: Gently pinch the sugar orange with your hand. If you feel soft and rebound quickly, it proves that the sugar orange peel is thin, juicy and very fresh, and you are not afraid of picking more sugar oranges. If the skin feels hard when you pinch your hands, don't buy it. This kind of sugar orange is absolutely thick and has little water.
4. Look at the color of leaves: Fruit farmers always leave one or two leaves when picking sugar oranges. If the color of the leaves is greener, it proves that the sugar oranges are fresher.
