Hereditary title
When Tang He was in Ming Taizu, he got a hereditary patent certificate. However, after the death of Tang He, his son, grandson and great-great-grandson all died young, so they could not attack the title, so the descendants of Tang lost their title when they arrived in Ming Yingzong. In the Ming Dynasty, Tang Shizong and Tang Shaozong, the five grandsons, were honored by posthumous title for their contributions, but they were still granted an imperial mandate.
I believe that lord protector only lasted for a generation; Lingbi Hou lived for five generations and died in Nanming. There are two other Lingbi Hou Tang Guoxiang and Tang in Ming history, which are said to have been set up during the Chongzhen period (1628- 1644) as a "sacrifice to Hou". Because its attack year is unknown, its deeds are only seen here, and it is not included in the lineage for the time being.
