Strongly acidic foods: egg yolks, cheese, desserts, white sugar, tuna, halibut.
Moderately acidic foods: ham, bacon, chicken, pork, eel, beef, bread, wheat.
Weakly acidic foods: white rice, peanuts, beer, seaweed, octopus, chocolate, cannelloni, scallions.
Strongly alkaline foods: grapes, tea, wine, kelp, citrus, persimmons, cucumbers, carrots.
Moderately alkaline foods: soybeans, tomatoes, bananas, strawberries, egg whites, dried plums, lemons and spinach.
Weakly alkaline foods: red beans, apples, collard greens, tofu, cabbage, greens, pears, potatoes.
Most people have a very vague understanding of the acidity and alkalinity of food, thinking that eating sour lemon is acidic. In fact, the acidity or alkalinity of food is not determined by simple taste. The so-called acidity or alkalinity of food refers to whether the inorganic salts in food are acidic or alkaline. The acidity or alkalinity of food depends on the ratio of the type and amount of minerals contained in the food: potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and iron show an alkaline reaction after entering the human body; phosphorus, chlorine and sulfur show an acidic reaction after entering the human body.
