How to raise sea crabs and the skills of raising sea crabs

1. Pond conditions for culture: Generally, medium and small ponds with an area of 1-2 mu are suitable for breeding in the north, and ponds near the sea area with sufficient water, no pollution, rich resources of small fish, shrimp and shellfish and convenient water intake and drainage should be selected. The depth of the pool should be more than 5 meters. The sediment quality of the pond is better, and the bottom of the pond should be covered with sand about 15 cm.

2. Preparation before breeding:

(1) Pond arrangement: Pond arrangement is mainly to remove excessive silt at the bottom of the pond, loosen and expose the bottom of the pond, and maintain supporting facilities such as ponds, gates and canals.

(2) Setting obstacles: In order to facilitate the rest and hiding of crab seedlings, after the pond is renovated, obstacles such as cement pipes, tiles and bamboo tubes should be placed at the bottom of the pond.

(3) Feed water and breed bait organisms: After cleaning the pond for half a month, you can smell the feed water. In order to prevent some harmful organisms from entering the pond, you can use a 6-mesh screen to filter seawater, and the depth of the pond water is generally maintained at about 8 cm. After the pond is flooded, chemical fertilizers should be applied to cultivate bait organisms, generally 1.5kg/ mu for N fertilizer and .3kg/ mu for P fertilizer, and the transparency of the pond water should be kept at. The cleaning of the pond mainly includes the renovation of the pond and the cleaning of drugs. The renovation of the pond was carried out after the crabs were collected in late autumn, and the pond water was drained, dredged and exposed to the sun. In the early stage of dredging, it will be pumped clean by mud pump, leveled by bulldozer in the later stage, and an annular ditch will be left around the pond, with a width of 2~4m and a low beach surface of 3~4cm. Exposed for more than half a month, the bottom of the pool will be fully oxidized, and supporting facilities such as ponds, gates and canals will be maintained.
