I am a grade 21 student at Jinggangshan University. I think our school is very good overall, so let’s take a look at our school with me!

1. School environment

Presumably many people will think that the school is at the foot of Jinggangshan University when they hear about it for the first time. In fact, this is not the case. Jinggangshan University is located in Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, which is still a certain distance from Jinggangshan. Although it is not adjacent to Jinggangshan, the red holy land, the school is located in Ji'an City, a land of outstanding people. Since the establishment of the school, it has been influenced by the beautiful cultural environment here. In particular, the red cultural spirit left by our ancestors has nourished generations of students. Master Jing, so this is a university with a strong red atmosphere. Not only is the red aura strong, but the green aura also lingers throughout the university. Although Jinggangshan University is not in Jinggangshan, it is indeed on the mountain. Therefore, the trees on the school grow lushly and there are many kinds of trees. Various small animals are also frequent visitors here, just like an ecological park.

2. Accommodation conditions

Jingda University adopts a collective accommodation system, which means that there will be several students who share a dormitory, so in our school there are four people. A dormitory, overall it is very comfortable. The first is the internal environment. Each dormitory has a bed and a table, and is equipped with electric lights, electric fans, air conditioners and other equipment. The only drawback may be that there is no private bathroom, but after living on campus for nearly a year, I think this is also an advantage. If there is no independent bathroom, there is no need to clean it, which reduces the burden of sanitation work, and you will not be affected by odor in summer. There are several water dispensers on each floor, so it is very convenient to fill up with water. Secondly, there is the external environment. Some flowers, plants and trees will be planted outside each dormitory to provide students with a comfortable environment.

3. Canteens

There are three canteens in our school, namely the first canteen, the second canteen and the third canteen. Canteen No. 1 and Canteen No. 2 are located in the South District and North District respectively, and both are large canteens. Then, the third canteen was newly built in recent years. It is relatively close to the 10th teaching building, but its scale is relatively small. The food in the canteen is diverse and delicious. Take the First Canteen that I am familiar with as an example. The First Canteen has three floors. The ground floor is Ganyuting Supermarket, and there are also many small shops, such as fruit shops, bakeries, braised vegetables shops, etc.; the first floor has Malatang, noodles, rice, porridge, cakes and other foods; the food styles on the second and first floors almost. But overall, the prices are relatively reasonable and fair. Generally, breakfast is 5-6 yuan and you can have a full meal. For lunch and dinner, you can buy two dishes, a bowl of rice and a bowl of soup for about 10 yuan, which is still very rich.

4. Sports facilities

The school is very large, so it has both large and small sports fields. Here we will focus on three of the track and field fields, one is North Field, one is South Field, and the other is a red sports stadium. Beitian is located in the North District, and Nantian is very close to San Canteen. There is a large football field in Beitian, with several rows of spectator seats and a track. Perhaps due to the weather, the plastic track in Beitian has cracked in many places. But generally, important large-scale gatherings in schools will be held in Beitian, such as sports meets and other activities. South Field is much smaller than North Field. The auditorium in South Field is simpler than that in North Field, but the quality of the plastic track is better than that in North Field. There are also many trees planted, which are especially suitable for taking pictures. In the North District, there is another very special sports ground, which is the Red Sports Stadium! The sports ground here does not have a track or a football field, but is equipped with walls, high-altitude facilities, etc. In fact, these are all related to a mysterious guest in our school, the "Red Games"! The Red Games is a unique sports meeting of our school, aiming to further absorb and promote the Jinggangshan spirit by allowing students to experience the difficult struggle of the Red Army soldiers. Therefore, sports such as wall grabbing to train cooperation skills are carried out in this sports ground.

5. Characteristic scenery

①Huxin Pavilion

When it comes to Jingda, Huxin Pavilion is an indispensable beautiful scenery. Red bricks and red tiles, rippling green water, and blue sky are reflected in the lake. Standing on the pavilion, you feel like you are embedded in this beautiful scenery, and you won't want to leave.

There is also the well-known Lover's Slope near the Lake Pavilion. No matter what season it is, this is a good place for team building. Surrounded by green water, you can also make friends with peacocks and black swans. There is no happiness in the world better than this!

②Library

The tall building opposite the north gate is the library! The library was newly built in recent years, so here you can not only indulge in a quiet study atmosphere, but also feel the charm of digital reading brought by high-tech equipment. So be sure to check in at the library when you have time!

③Medical Department

The Medical Department is located in the North District. Although the North District is vast and sparsely populated, the Medical Department will definitely give you a different feeling. The medical department has a beautiful environment, but what kind of sparks will it create when paired with a rigorous and scientific learning atmosphere?

All in all, although I have only been here for a year, I have already fallen in love with this university. Whether it’s the strong red cultural atmosphere here or the beautiful campus environment, I think it will definitely be the most unforgettable memory in my college life.
