Don't teach separation and hatred to harm beauty. Who is worthy enough to display the mandarin duck brocade? It’s a cold night in the West Tower with me. Partridge Day·Wake up from drunkenness, spring is gone again. Translation and annotation
Translation: I was drunk last night, and now I wake up. It’s spring again, and I can see the rain falling on the wild tang pears, just like leaving people behind. The tears of sadness are as abundant as ever. In the melodious sound of jade sheng, Lonely Luan Kong is mourning; the lingering fragrance in the curtain is fragrant, and the swallow has not returned yet. The poet was playing the sheng in boredom under the curtain, missing his faraway lover, and his heart was filled with sadness. Since we already know that happy gatherings are easy to break up, it is better to live in leisurely life for the time being, and don't let the sorrow of separation damage the beautiful appearance of youth. However, when the spring is cold and the night is long, I lie down in the west building, who can watch the morning and evening?

Partridge Sky · Appreciation of "After getting drunk and waking up, spring has faded again." "When I woke up from a drunken mood, spring has faded again, and the wild Tangli trees have been filled with rain and tears." The sentimentality revealed in this sentence sets the emotional tone of the whole text. The poet opens the poem by writing that he woke up drunk and suddenly found that the spring was coming to an end, and there were still raindrops on the begonias and pear blossoms, just like tears. The author uses "getting drunk" to introduce what he saw after waking up. The originally unrelated "drunkenness" and "spring remnant" are cleverly connected by the author, making people feel that he has been drunk for a long time and has even forgotten the changes in solar terms. The author adds the word "again" between the two words "春风", which shows that people are unaware of the passage of time. As Yan Jidao wrote in the preface to his collection of poems: "I feel the change of time, and sigh at the unreality of circumstances." The previous sentence says that after waking up from alcohol, everything was desolate, leaving only the depression of late spring. The author felt guilty for wasting the beautiful spring scenery because of his drunkenness. The latter sentence uses "begonia and pear blossom" to express the end of spring, which is more artistic. The ancients compared the tears of a beautiful woman to pear blossoms and rain. The author used this meaning to express the infinite sadness in his heart.
"In the sound of the Yusheng, the luan is empty, and in the fragrance of the curtain, the swallow has not returned." In the music of the Yusheng, the lonely luan bird laments in vain, the curtain in the room remains the same, but the return cannot be seen. Nest of chaffinch. "Luanniao" is also called Lonely Luan, which refers to a Luan bird that has lost its mate. This is also the author's self-explanation. "The swallow has not returned" means that the departed lover has not yet returned. The author expresses his deep loneliness and sadness through these two sentences.
"It is easy to be separated in the end, and we will be free for a long time. Don't teach separation and hatred to damage beauty." On the surface, these three sentences are the author's insight into life: knowing clearly that separation is easy to get together. If it’s difficult, then relax your thoughts for the time being and give yourself space. Don’t let the pain of separation entangle your mood. But then you can find out through the last two sentences that the author himself knows that he is deceiving himself and others, and the true feelings in his heart cannot be concealed.
"Who is worthy of displaying the mandarin duck brocade, spending this cold night in the west building." In this sentence, the "mandarin duck brocade" refers to the quilt used by couples, which here refers to the love between men and women. . "West Tower" refers to the residence where men and women enjoy together. By imagining the good times represented by "Yuanyang Brocade" and "West Tower", the author expresses his infinite expectations and longing: he still misses the good days they spent together, and looks forward to having someone to accompany him through the long nights.
