PS: no horror pictures inside, please rest assured to read (I really conscientious author)
1. "Dead Silence"
Synopsis: Legend has it that in the 1940s, a tragedy occurred in a small village in the U.S. called Lei Wangsfeier. A child was killed, and the villagers believed that the murderer was Mary Shaw, a local woman who made her living by performing ventriloquism with puppets. The angry villagers capture Mary, cut out her tongue, and then burn her puppets in the fire. Since then, the disappeared puppets would appear in the village from time to time, and every time they appeared, someone would die, and all the dead people would have their tongues cut out. So the village left this legend: when you see Mary's puppet Belgium, do not scream.
Decades later, Jaime, who has moved away from Ravensfell, finds his new wife, Lisa, strangely dead in their apartment, and when he returns to the village to take care of her affairs, he suddenly remembers the story he heard as a child of the murder of a puppet. Jaime decides to solve the mystery, and that dusty, horrific history is once again reopened.
Being killed in life, only to have a grudge after death, a mysterious object that can't be shaken off (dolls are really a scary element) is the most traditional and clichéd way of horror movies. The two creators, James and Lee Want, both of whom were a hit because of Saw. The film both inherited all the lessons learned from the horror films made by those who came before it and became a model for future generations of horror films.
2. Orphan Grievance
Synopsis: An unexpected miscarriage devastates John and Kate, who are expecting a baby, and Kate's mental health is nearly broken, while their marriage is on the brink of collapse. In an attempt to save their marriage, the couple goes to an orphanage in hopes of adopting a child. Here they meet Esther, a little girl who is a bit of a maverick. The little girl exudes a unique quality that attracts the Johns, and eventually Esther becomes part of their family. However, with Esther's arrival, all sorts of bizarre events ensue. Kate vaguely feels that there is an unknown side behind this angelic-looking little girl ......
Angelic appearance, devilish heart, how can a bright and clever 12-year-old girl be equated with a thrilling warhorse? Her mother's alcoholism, miscarriage, and feud with her mother-in-law, her father's betrayal, the direct generation gap between the two generations, her mute sister, and her rebellious son ...... A seemingly perfect family is full of "failures". A lot of the film's camera switching and the overall speed of the use of the film as a whole in a gothic atmosphere of tension.
Highly recommended! I used to watch the movie in college, and the nun's murder took over a hundred shots in just over two minutes, so it's fast-paced.
3. "A Ghost in the Shell"
Synopsis: Ken, a movie projectionist, is in financial crisis due to his addiction to marijuana, and even pawned off his girlfriend's watch, which she left in anger. Determined to turn over a new leaf, he is forced by mobsters to pirate a new movie that has yet to be released in order to pay back the money he owes, in order to make a fortune. One night, Ken and his best friend Yuk are in a theater to bootleg an upcoming horror film called "The Ghost". When Ken dozes off in the middle of the movie, he wakes up to find that Yuk has disappeared, and eventually Yuk's dead body appears in the movie. He soon learns that the movie is based on a true incident, and that Fusang's sister-in-law, who died in the movie by hanging, is actually a real person. He and Chant*** visited the place where the case took place, but inadvertently learned the secret of the filming process ......
In the world of Thai horror is to believe in good and evil retribution, karma, and sometimes death is not necessarily the end. Fusang sister-in-law this horror image is still portrayed more classic. Fish face plus silk hair, a foot abducted dragging walk, hobby combing hair and zero distance contact with the audience and then bring it back to the movie inside a meal together, just the price is to dig out the eyes. The plot is set up in such a way that the sudden appearance of ghosts and the deafening sound effects make it hard to defend oneself.
4. The Devil's Doll
Synopsis: Deep in the forest lives an old couple who make dolls for fun. On a stormy night, a young girl, Judy, her father, stepmother, and a group of teenagers come to the old couple's house. Although they are warmly received, behind their kind smiles lies a horrible truth: the dolls in the house attack the visitors one after another...
This is my childhood nightmare! Cute and delicate dolls by day go on a killing spree at night, but the good thing is that they love and hate and are able to judge right from wrong. They are like little children, believing what they first feel and what they see with their eyes, good is good and bad is bad. The dolls utilize a killing tool that we usually don't even notice, or it could be the little sword in their hands, poking the bad guys to death one at a time. (When I was a kid, I didn't dare to play with dolls for a long time after watching this.)
5. ZOMBIE
Synopsis: The career and life of action star Chien Siu-ho, who was once famous for his zombie movies, has hit rock bottom, and he moves into a dilapidated apartment with his belongings. After being guided by the security guard Uncle Yan, he walks into the legendary murder house, Unit 2442. Siu Ho hangs himself from a beam, but he is haunted by a fierce ghost while his life is hanging in the balance, and it is only thanks to the help of Ah Yau, a reclusive Taoist priest, that he recovers his life. Siu Ho is curious about a white-haired boy named Siu Pak and a woman named Yeung Fung (played by me, Hung Koo!) who often spies and eats sacrificial food at the entrance of 2442. He is curious about the white-haired boy Siu Pak and the woman Yang Feng (played by my Hong Gu!) who often peeps at the entrance of 2442 and eats sacrificial food. When Uncle Tung of the same building fell to his death, his wife Auntie Mui (Bao Qi Jing) begged Ah Kau, who specializes in evil spells, to help him return to his soul, but it resulted in an irreversible tragedy. The story is about life and death, death and rebirth, and the infinite troubles caused by love and greed. Zombies and ghosts are on the rampage in the night ......
As a nostalgic tribute to Hong Kong's zombie films, the movie brings together the zombie tradition of Hong Kong films, the Japanese style of female ghosts and their modus operandi, and the plasma of American horror films, as well as Juno Mak's love of horror films, to create a very interesting mix of films. The first thing that makes this movie a winner is the style, the eerie atmosphere presented throughout the movie is so right on target that it looks a bit chilly, including the cinematography and artwork that stand out in several ways. And the ending is very subtle, worth watching.
6. "Ghosts"
Synopsis: Thun, a young freelance photographer, drove home from a party with his girlfriend, Jane, and his college friends, and on the way home, Jane knocked a woman to the ground, and Jane wanted to get out of the car to check on the woman's injuries. Thun told her to relax and not to worry too much.
Jane's worry is not superfluous, a series of strange things will immediately find them: Thun's many photographs taken by a blurred female figure, inexplicable pain in the neck, the day of the party students have jumped to their deaths ...... two more in the dark room many times suddenly into the horror of the atmosphere. In order to get rid of the nightmare, Jane decided to launch an in-depth investigation, and the tragic experience of a woman related to Thun slowly surfaced.
That last part where the camera falls to the ground and captures a ghost riding on a person is a classic! Caused me to think of it every time I write something for a long time when my whiplash hurts (like now). What's scary about Thai horror is that compared to Japanese stylization and Korean aesthetics, it's all about plot and graphics, but also about human nature, and this movie is actually about love. This movie is about love. Despite the good times, it is a bubble in the end. Who is right and who is wrong? Perhaps in this world, fear does not come from the visual stimulation, but the powerlessness when you face a lot of things.
(I really wanted to put up a still from that ride, but I thought better of it.)
7. "The Other Side"
Synopsis: After learning that her landlord's wife and son died in a mudslide, Zhang Xin (played by Karena Lam) would always see their ghosts, making her boyfriend unable to bear the torment and leave her, and she had no choice but to seek help from a psychiatrist, Ah Zham (played by Cheung Kwok Wing). Realizing that what she sees is nothing more than a hallucination caused by her long isolation, Jim begins to do everything he can to help her, eventually freeing her from her horrifying thoughts. The two of them gradually develop feelings for each other in the process.
When he was in Jim's living space, Zhang Xin realized that Jim had many strange behaviors, and after investigating, he found that he suffered from severe schizophrenia, and was trapped in the night time by the hallucinations, which made him suffer from pain. In order to let his lover return to normal, Zhang Xin decided to help him drive away the demons in his heart.
The main character in the movie finally came to the light at the end of the movie, but his brother unfortunately ended his life, and he did use his own life to interpret and achieve success. Love can save the lonely, let two lonely people help each other out of the shadow. Zhang Xin is lonely, Luo Benliang is lonely, and Mr. Landlord, whose wife and children were taken away by the mudslide, is also lonely. Each of us is actually lonely, but does not mean that this can be the reason to hurt others, the only snuggle with each other to overcome the darkness, in order to embrace waiting for the arrival of the dawn.
8. "Ghost Chaos 5"
Synopsis: This movie is divided into 5 stories: "The Palm Sacrifice of Solace" In order to avoid legal responsibility, the mother sends her son to a remote temple to be an ascetic monk. The teenager follows his masters to a mountain village, where they tell him about the local custom of sacrificing hungry ghosts on palm altars. The young man is not convinced, but eventually realizes that the master's words are true; "The Ghost Patient in the Same Room" A young man who has broken his bones in a car accident has no choice but to be placed in a multi-occupancy ward to recuperate from his injuries. However, there are only two people in the ward, and besides him, there is a brain-dead old man. As night falls, the old man gets up and attacks the young man; "Deadly Backpackers" A pair of young men and women from Japan traveled to Thailand, where they intercepted a stuffed truck. Halfway through the journey, a continuous knocking sound comes from the back of the truck, and a nightmare descends; "Used Cars for Dead Souls" is a story about a female owner of a second-hand car dealership, who often refurbishes cars that have been involved in car accidents in order to make a profit and then sells them to other people. One night, her son Xiao De disappeared while playing in the car dealership, and weird and horrible things happened one after another; "Ghosts on the Set" A film crew was shooting "Siamese Twin 2", and Xiao Genmei, who was playing the role of a female ghost, suddenly fainted on the set, and the staff scrambled to send her to the hospital. The crew is worried about the progress of the movie, but Negi is back on the set.
The multi-part story structure of the horror movie is more of a test of the writers' skills, especially for the 2-hour "Ghost 5", which has an average of just over 20 minutes per story, plus the opening credits. It's not easy for the director and screenwriter to deliver a simple but profound story about karma in a short period of time. Under the tension of the plot, each story can also make us understand a lot of principles of doing things. This is a very Thai terrorist style!
There are too many good horror movies, often watch the B station when there will be a lot of partners brush curtains said to go listen to will be happy goat slow, so there is this inventory. The selection of these films is also based on the ratings of the horror films I have seen and the pace of the movie to set. The reason why I did not choose Korean and Japanese horror movies is because Korea is too beautiful, and Japan ...... (Really that kind of senseless and indiscriminate killing I really don't like, and simply look at the end of the senseless ah, Sadako god horse feeling looks quite beautiful, embarrassment is going to be guilty). The Thai horror movie and I like to watch these years, so put more.
I believe there are a lot of everyone in their own minds need to listen to Pleasant Goat to dare to see the horror movie, you can share in the comments, there are particularly wonderful and I missed I will also be added to the back of the out of the da.
PS: emphasize, this inventory is not simply pure horror Oh, it must be the rhythm, the atmosphere should be able to let a person's heartbeat accelerated, after watching the dare not be alone at home of a spicy kind!
