Natural vegetation is mainly deciduous and broad-leaved, including Quercus acutissima, Pistacia chinensis, Sophora japonica and Pterocarya stenoptera. There are more than 700 kinds of medicinal plants. Introduced tree species include black pine, Chinese fir and paulownia. The types of mineral resources in Jingkou District are incomplete and their economic value is not great. There are sporadic iron-bearing guying sandstone outcrops in Lushan Mountain of Jianbi Street, and dolomite and limestone in Qinglong Mountain. There is limestone in yuanjiacun, Xiangshan Street; Clay is mainly distributed along the river.
