There are more than 90 species of Yangtze fish 13 orders and 25 families in Jingkou District, among which saury, shad, eel, squid and puffer fish are rare species in China. Baiji dolphin, Chinese sturgeon and other rare animals in China are listed as national first-class protected animals. The artificially raised aquatic products include fish such as green grass, silver carp, carp and crucian carp, and shrimp, crab, eel and turtle.

There is limestone in yuanjiacun, Xiangshan Street; Clay is mainly distributed along the river.
