The author of this book, Prof. Robert Frank, is a professor at the School of Management at Cornell University. He likes to give his students "Museum Economics Assignments" in his classroom, asking them to write short essays, ask questions about their lives, and answer them from an economics perspective. Over the years, these questions were collected into a book, which became the blueprint for this book.
In an interview, Prof. Frank was asked why he was attracted to "museum economics," and he replied, "You only need to master five or six basic economic concepts, and all the relevant problems in life will be solved. Just like the theory of biological evolution, once you understand it, any species, organization, structure, will become simple. This will also make you more interested in the subject."
The Economics of Milk Cola was serialized in Wenzhou Metropolis Newspaper starting on 2012.8.28.
