Chipoli, also known as Laiyang Cili, Laiyang Cili, commonly known as Laiyang pear, is an excellent variety in the white pear system commonly cultivated in Shandong. It got its name because the main place of origin is in Laiyang City and the place of origin is in the Chiping area. Cultivation began in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty and has been nearly 400 years. The fruit is large, with general commercial fruit weighing 220-280 grams, and the larger ones weighing more than 800 grams. If the calyx is not pinched, it will be oval to spindle-shaped. If the calyx is pinched, the top of the fruit will expand and become obovate or short scoop-shaped. The shape of the fruit will vary greatly depending on the fruit setting position. The peel is thin, yellow-green or yellowish-green.
