What is the breeding of bamboo shellfish?
The scientific name of bamboo shell fish is brown pond fish or pointed pond fish, which is a kind of warm water economic fish, mainly produced in Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam and other countries, and is commonly known as bamboo shell fish in Guangdong and South China. The maximum length is 60cm and the weight is 5-6 kg. The tail weight of 0.3kg meets the commodity specifications. Thai bamboo shell fish is a carnivorous, benthic and burrowing fish. It is afraid of light and often hides in cracks and caves in rocks. The color of its surface will change with the surrounding water quality and environment. Under natural conditions, the main food is small fish and shrimp. Aquaculture water temperature range 15-33℃, suitable water temperature 25-30℃, pH 7. Bamboo tube fish is tender in meat, less in thorns and delicious in taste, which is better than seawater grouper. The price will not be lower than 100- 120 yuan/kg, and the breeding cost is relatively low.

1 Selection of fry specifications

The scales on the surface of the bamboo tube fish are special and comb-toothed. Reverse friction is easy to damage the skin and induce infection. The fry are too large and the scales are mature, so they are easy to scratch each other during transportation, resulting in the death or even annihilation of the whole army. Therefore, the key to the success of cultivating bamboo shell fish is to choose small fry, which is generally less than 2cm.

Immediately after the seedlings were transported back, they were temporarily raised in pots and barrels for 2 days. The specific method is: (1) soak in 20 mg/L potassium permanganate1h; ; (2) then soak in 65438+20mg/L 00% povidone iodine and 0.6% salt solution for 40-48h; ; (3) If the whole pond is disinfected by spraying with 20 mg/L potassium permanganate in high temperature season, the seedlings are released two days later; (4) Put 2000-3000 seedlings per mu.

In addition, fish nests must be set up. Cut the nontoxic PVC pipe with the diameter of 12cm into about 60cm, fix it into a "well" shape and put it at the bottom of the pond. 30-40 "wells" per mu.

2 feeding

The characteristics of bamboo shell fish are slow growth in the early stage, and it takes 60-70 days to grow from 2cm to 10cm. Live bait must be fed during this time. Better live bait, such as young flowers of wild fish and fresh water shrimp seedlings (desalted Penaeus vannamei seedlings can also be used). Because the growth rate of small fish and shrimp is faster than that of bamboo shell fry, feeding fish and shrimp fry with appropriate specifications in batches is extremely beneficial to the success of culture.

Our practice is: (1) local adult fish (5- 10 cm) are stocked, and bamboo shell fry are released in about 20 days. At this time, the larvae hatch and are suitable for being preyed by bamboo shell fish; (2) After10 days, put a batch of shrimp seedlings, 20,000-40,000/mu. (3) adding shrimp 1 time every 7- 10 days until most of them grow to about 10 cm; (4) 10cm bamboo shell fry can eat mixed bait or "dead bait". The specific method is: when most of the bamboo shell fry grow to 10cm, feed the last batch of shrimp fry 10 days before domestication. After that, set eating tables in the pond, with a plastic frame of 40-60 cm, with heavy objects hanging from the bottom and supported by foam or floating balls, so that the eating tables are 20-30 cm away from the bottom of the pond, with 6-8 per mu. Then gradually put a small amount of bait (small miscellaneous fish, compound feed) for feeding. In the early stage of preparing to feed the compound feed, chop up some small miscellaneous fish and mix them in the feed to lure the bamboo tube fish to eat, and gradually reduce the small miscellaneous fish until there are no more. The feeding time is after 5 pm, because the bamboo shellfish don't eat during the day. You should be patient in taming food. Generally 10- 15 days can successfully tame food. Individual fry do not eat for a long time, and if they are hungry for a long time, coupled with the role of food-attracting ingredients, they can be domesticated successfully.

3 disease prevention and treatment

Bamboo shell fish seldom get sick. The main diseases are skin abrasions and parasites on the body surface, and the most serious is anchor fleas. If fleas are found, the whole pond can be sprayed with trichlorfon solution of 1.5-2.0 mg/L, and then sprayed with 1 time every 7 days for 3-4 times in a row, with 1 course of treatment before, during and after breeding. Stop taking medicine 30 days before harvesting to avoid the problem of drug residue.

4 habit introduction

The bamboo tube fish evolved into a respirator without swim bladder, which is equivalent to the early lungs. The subcutaneous blood vessels are rich and convenient for gas exchange. Therefore, the bamboo shell fish can survive for a long time at room temperature to keep the skin moist. As long as the skin is kept moist, the survival rate of long-distance transportation for 3-7 days can reach 100%.

Five kinds of overwintering

Bamboo shell fish is a warm-water fish, and the water temperature must be kept above 10℃ in winter. It is not difficult to achieve this condition by building solar greenhouse and artificial auxiliary heating. Moreover, bamboo shellfish can be temporarily raised in high density for overwintering, and attention should be paid to preventing water mold and skin infection.
